Job Summary

Senior Storage Engineer

Engineer enterprise SAN/NAS storage and disaster recovery solutions across PowerMax, NetApp, snapshots, replication/SnapMirror, and block/file storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate enterprise SAN/NAS solutions across PowerMax and NetApp platforms.

• Design snapshot, replication, SnapMirror, block/file storage, and disaster-recovery patterns.

• Perform capacity, performance, resilience, upgrade, and recovery planning.

• Follow approved architecture, security, change, documentation, and service-management controls.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders; communicate progress, risks, decisions, and support needs.

Skill Requirements

• Suggested baseline: 8+ years in the relevant engineering domain, including ownership of complex production environments.

• Hands-on capability aligned to the role scope: Engineer enterprise SAN/NAS storage and disaster recovery solutions across PowerMax, NetApp, snapshots, replication/SnapMirror, and block/file storage.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, document designs and procedures, and work effectively across distributed teams.

• Working knowledge of enterprise security, change, incident, problem, release, and operational-readiness practices.

Other Requirements

Education and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

• Relevant cloud, platform, network, data, security, DevOps, IT service management, or project-management certifications are desirable where applicable to the role.
