Job Summary : DC-SW Currency Upgrade-(Data Center Software Upgrade

Job Responsibilities : • Plan and execute NX-OS code/firmware currency upgrades across DC switching estate • Manage vPC (virtual Port-Channel) pair upgrades without service disruption • Coordinate upgrade windows across DC and DMZ environments • Validate post-upgrade state and rollback if needed • Support catalyst-family switching alongside Nexus upgrade work 

Job Description : Role #2: DC-SW Currency Upgrade:\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nSkillset needed:\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nRequired: Hands-on experience with Data Center and DMZ environments, including Cisco Nexus platforms is required, along with familiarity with the Catalyst switching family. Strong experience with NX-OS code upgrades and a solid understanding of vPC concepts are essential. Candidates should be at a CCNP level, with strong switching and routing knowledge and solid troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail, an operations-focused mindset, and availability to work weekends as needed, are essential.\\\\r\\\\nDesired: Experience with Arista is a plus, but not mandatory. Exposure to load balancers is also desirable\\\\r\\\\n

Skill Requirement : • CCNP-level switching and routing knowledge (mandatory) • Strong hands-on NX-OS upgrade experience (mandatory — distinct from general DC LMNT skillset) • Solid understanding of vPC concepts (mandatory) • Catalyst switching family familiarity • Load balancer exposure — desirable, not mandatory • Arista exposure — a plus • 8–12 yrs total; 3–5 yrs relevant
