Job Summary
- Strong understanding on Citrix XenApp 6.5 and 7.x, Citrix Xendesktop 7.x
- Good Understanding of Citrix Provisioning Services PVS.
- How to install and upgrade PVS Servers, what is PVS boot process, and what services are required for PVS boot.
- Citrix Provisioning: How to update a vDisk – Versioning Method
- Strong understanding on Microsoft App-V
- Strong understanding on AppSense, FSLogix, UPM(any 1 is mandatory)
- String working knowledge of creation and update of Citrix OS images
- Strong understanding on Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019.
- Strong understanding on Windows Desktop OS platform ( Win 7, Win 10) .
- Strong understanding of Types of Desktops hosted in Citrix Infra.
- Strong Working knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and Xendesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
- Person should be working as an Individual Contributor helping the team to setup Citrix Environment with Best Practices.
- Expert on multiple versions of Citrix and strong experience of Citrix Secure gateway/Web Interface /NetScaler
- Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager and installation manager.
- Printers Management in Citrix .(should have working experience of fixing printing issues)
- Citrix Patch Management and policies configuration.
- Strong knowledge in configuring Roaming profiles and Streaming profile configuration.
- Strong knowledge in Citrix Edge Sight, Citrix Director.
- Good troubleshooting skills in Citrix printers, profiles, resource managers thresholds, installation manager, Citrix Farm Configuration .
- Basic Windows Active Directory Administration
- Strong understanding on PowerShell, Bat scripts
- Perform daily health check of servers, VDIs & VDI core components
- Remediation of reported vulnerabilities as per the guidelines
- Working Knowledge with WEM.
- Working knowledge with Hypervisors such as VMware, Xenserver and HyperV
- Windows Patch Management in the VDI environment.
- Must have experience in creating and maintaining SOPs to run offshore operations
- Experience in handling Escalated issues including coordination with multiple teams and vendor
- (1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- (2.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing incident & problem management
- (3.) To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team
- (4.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
- (5.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives
- (6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
Key Responsibilities
- 12+ Years of experience in Citrix Administration with both XenApp and XenDesktop with multiple sites and farms.
- Open with 24/7 shift and good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently without intensive oversight must be a go-getter and take initiative finding ways to avoid problems proactively rather than just fixing them after the fact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related discipline
- Coming from a Strong Troubleshooting background.
