Job Summary

Job Description: Network SecurityRole Overview: Security Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Imperva delivery and security services. This role requires a deep understanding of Imperva content delivery network (CDN) and security solutions, including web application firewalls (WAF), bot management, and DDoS protection. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web technologies, network security, and performance optimization.Key Responsibilities:Manage and configure Cloud delivery and security services to ensure optimal performance and security.Configure and manage Bot Manager Premier and Account Protector to mitigate bot attacks and account takeover attempts.Conduct risk assessments across multiple web and mobile applications, integrating in-browser protection tools to guard against client-side attacks.Monitor and analyze traffic patterns to identify and mitigate potential threats.Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize content delivery and improve website performance.Perform regular updates of site shield IPs and configure pragma header stripping rules to manage application security at the network layer.Implement various caching and compression rules to enhance web application performance.Integrate Imperva SDK to protect mobile applications from bot attacks.Engage with Subject Matter Experts and other Risk Management team members to gather information and complete projects on time.Document and communicate security incidents and vulnerabilities to internal teams, management, and vendors.Act as a primary point of contact for security operations, responding to and mitigating security incidents as part of the Security Operations Center (SOC).Maintain and update detailed knowledge of the IT security industry, including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and emerging threats and vulnerabilities.Manage and configure Imperva delivery and security services to ensure optimal performance and security.Monitor and analyze traffic patterns to identify and mitigate potential threats, with a focus on dealing with bot attacks using Bot Manager Premier and Account Protector Control. Implement and maintain Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules and policies.Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize content delivery and improve website performance.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Imperva services.Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CDN and web security.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding Imperva services.Develop and maintain documentation related to Imperva configurations, processes, and procedures.Respond to high priority on-call engagements within 15 minutes in a rotation one out of every 4 weeks. Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
