Job Summary

As an AWS Data Lake Engineer (L3), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data lake solutions using AWS services. You will work closely with data architects, scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, secure, and accessible data for analytics and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Architecture: o Architect scalable and secure data lake solutions using AWS services like S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, and Lake Formation. o Develop and optimize data lake architecture to support structured and unstructured data. • Data Engineering: o Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions. o Integrate data from diverse sources into the data lake, ensuring data quality and consistency. o Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes. • Operations & Governance: o Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion and pipeline performance. o Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards. o Manage metadata and data cataloging using AWS Glue Data Catalog. • Collaboration & Support: o Work with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements. o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. o Support DevOps and automation efforts for data lake operations.

Skill Requirements

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA). • Certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
