Key Responsibilities

mInstall, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and associated security technologies (e.g., Panorama, GlobalProtect, WildFire)\r\n \r\nDesign and manage firewall policies, VPNs, and network segmentation\r\n \r\nMonitor and analyze firewall logs and security events for threat detection and response\r\n \r\nPerform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in line with change management procedures\r\n \r\nConduct security audits and vulnerability assessments\r\n \r\nCollaborate with network and system teams to ensure secure architecture and compliance\r\n \r\nDocument network configurations, procedures, and incident reports\r\n \r\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues\r\n \r\nParticipate in disaster recovery planning and implementation\r\n \r\nDevelop and tune correlation SIEM rules, dashboards, and alerts\r\n \r\nIntegrate log sources from servers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and applications\r\n \r\nInvestigate and respond to security incidents and anomalies\r\n \r\nCollaborate with other IT teams to improve threat detection\r\n \r\nMaintain documentation and ensure compliance with security policies\r\n \r\nPerform regular audits and optimize SIEM performance\r\n

Skill Requirements

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VPN technologies\r\n \r\nExperience with Palo Alto Networks products and CLI\r\n \r\nFamiliarity with SIEM tools and log correlation\r\n \r\nKnowledge of network security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)\r\n \r\nAbility to work in high-pressure environments and respond to incidents promptly\r\n \r\nStrong understanding of log management and event correlation\r\n \r\nExcellent communication and documentation skills\r\n \r\n
