Job Summary

Senior Infrastructure Operations Specialist – GCP Core & Compute Operations\\\\r\\\\nRole & Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nServe as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Compute GCP platform within Infrastructure Operations, ensuring efficient coordination between Operations, SRE, Transition, Project, and external vendor teams. Manage and prioritize incoming operational tasks, drive incident escalations to resolution, and collaborate with Service Delivery Managers and HCL leads on Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities. Support cloud migration and post-migration operations by coordinating with Windows, Linux, Virtualization, and SRE teams, while proactively identifying operational gaps and driving continuous improvement. Act as the bridge between project and operations teams, ensuring feedback is captured and incorporated into future cloud rollouts. Work within Agile/Scrum environments and leverage Jira for workflow and task management.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nMust-Have Skills\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nExperience in Infrastructure Operations, Service Management, or IT Operations.\\\\r\\\\nStrong knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.\\\\r\\\\nProven stakeholder management, coordination, and escalation handling skills.\\\\r\\\\nExperience working across multiple technology teams and service providers.\\\\r\\\\nStrong understanding of enterprise workflows and cross-team dependencies.\\\\r\\\\nAgile/Scrum experience and hands-on use of Jira.\\\\r\\\\nFoundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\\\\r\\\\nExcellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.\\\\r\\\\nGood-to-Have Skills\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nExperience within the Nordea environment or a large enterprise financial organization.\\\\r\\\\nHands-on exposure to Windows, Linux, or Virtualization technologies.\\\\r\\\\nExperience supporting cloud migration and transformation initiatives.\\\\r\\\\nFamiliarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations.\\\\r\\\\nExperience working with managed service providers such as HCL and cloud vendors such as Google.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary coordination point for Compute GCP Operations. Manage and prioritize operational activities and escalations. Drive Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. Coordinate with Windows, Linux, Virtualization, SRE, and vendor teams. Support cloud migration and post-migration operational activities. Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers and stakeholders. Manage Agile/Scrum workflows using Jira. Identify operational gaps and drive service improvements.

Skill Requirements

 Infrastructure Operations / IT Operations experience. Strong Incident, Problem, and Change Management knowledge. Stakeholder management and escalation handling. Agile/Scrum methodology and Jira experience. Foundational Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge. Cross-team coordination and service management skills. Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Other Requirements

Experience in large enterprise or banking environments (preferred). Exposure to Windows, Linux, or Virtualization technologies. Knowledge of cloud migration and transformation programs. Familiarity with SRE operations and managed service environments. Experience working with vendors such as HCL and Google Cloud.
