Job Summary

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience\r\n• 10+ years of mainframe systems experience with specific concentration in performance management for large, multi-processor, multi-LPAR, Parallel Sysplex environments.\r\n• 2 years experience working with SAS programming\r\n• Familiarity with SMF/RMF record structures\r\n• Familiarity with WLM (workload manager), MXG, & ThruPut Manager (batch priority software)\r\n• Knowledge of zVM, CICS, DB2, Strobe, & Mainview\r\n

Key Responsibilities

1. Enhance Operational Systems By Implementing Performance Tuning Strategies For Db2 Z/Os, Ensuring Improved Management Reporting And Streamlined Information Flow.
2. Analyze Client Requirements And Ensure That The Support Team Consistently Meets Client Expectations By Leveraging Db2 Systems And Dba Expertise.
3. Lead And Mentor The Project Team By Establishing Transparent Communication Of Project Goals And Fostering A Collaborative Work Environment Centered On Db2 Performance Optimization.
4. Drive Innovation In Process Development By Introducing New Ideas And Best Practices In Db2 Systems Management, Contributing To Overall Organizational Progress.
5. Provide Tailored Solutions That Align With Customer Needs By Utilizing Db2 Z/Os Capabilities, Resulting In Improved Business Outcomes.
