Job Summary

AWS Infra SME : We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused AWS Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and manage highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on the AWS platform. The role involves leading cloud architecture initiatives, including AWS Landing Zone setup, multi-account strategy using Control Tower, and ensuring alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud migration, infrastructure delivery, and AWS architecture, with a strong focus on building fault-tolerant, compliant, and high-performance environments. This includes deep expertise across AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM), networking architecture, security frameworks, and hybrid cloud models. Key responsibilities include designing and deploying enterprise-scale cloud architectures, driving automation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), enabling monitoring and observability using AWS-native tools, and supporting containerized and serverless workloads. The role also requires hands-on experience in private-to-public cloud migrations, governance via AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies, and implementation of advanced solutions such as CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, ECS/EKS, and AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub). Additionally, the architect will contribute to innovation areas like real-time data streaming (Kinesis), IoT integration, and time-series data management (Timestream), while ensuring operational excellence through strong problem-solving and continuous improvement practices. The position demands a highly skilled professional with 12–15 years of overall experience, including 6–8 years in AWS architecture, backed by relevant AWS and Terraform certifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS cloud architectures Lead AWS Landing Zone implementation using Control Tower and multi-account strategy Define and enforce governance using AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies (SCPs) Architect and manage enterprise networking solutions (VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, hybrid connectivity) Develop solutions aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework Drive security and compliance frameworks using AWS security services Lead cloud migration initiatives from private/on-prem/cloud environments to AWS Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cost-optimized and performance-efficient solutions Enable automation-first approach using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to delivery teams

Skill Requirements

 Solid understanding of AWS services: You should have an in-depth knowledge of various AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and their use cases, configurations, and best practices. b. Cloud architecture design: You should be able to design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud architectures that align with business requirements and follow AWS best practices. c. Security and compliance: Understanding AWS security services like IAM, VPC, Security Groups, and compliance requirements is essential. d. Networking expertise: Knowledge of networking concepts like VPCs, subnets, routing tables, gateways, cloudWAN is crucial for designing secure and efficient network architectures. e. Automation and scripting: Proficiency in using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management. Terraform enterprise and harness as nice to have. f. Monitoring and logging: Familiarity with Zabbix and AWS monitoring and logging services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config for monitoring resources, analyzing logs, and maintaining compliance. g. Migration and hybrid cloud: Experience in migrating private cloud workloads to AWS and designing cloud architectures h. Real-time data streaming and processing: Experience in Amazon Kinesis i. Connect and manage IoT devices securely: Expertise in AWS IoT j. Store and analyze time-series data: Experience in Timestream k. Containerization and serverless: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and AWS ECS/EKS, as well as serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions. l. Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a cloud environment. m. Continuous learning: Ability to stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development. Certifications: • AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Professional. • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate. • AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer Associate. • Certified Terraform Associate.
