Job Summary

AWS MSSQL SME Description: We are seeking a skilled Cloud/Database Engineer with strong hands-on experience migrating Microsoft SQL Server workloads to AWS. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end assessment, schema conversion, data replication, cutover planning, and post-migration optimization for SQL Server environments moving to Amazon RDS for SQL Server or SQL Server on Amazon EC2, ensuring secure and low-downtime transitions. Total Experience - A minimum of 10 to 12 years of proven experience in database engineering and migrations, including designing, modernizing, and operating database platforms on AWS (RDS/Aurora, EC2-hosted databases) with strong focus on performance, security, HA/DR, and automation.
