Job Summary : JD for Live Streaming (Webcast)/Real Time Collaboration JD for Webcast Team The Live Event / Live Streaming Production Technician is the go-to person for all events and live stream videos. This role involves ensuring everything is ready to go prior to the Live Event. Highly experienced in Live Streaming Media. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing and maintaining the Live Streaming infrastructure of the client which includes Microsoft Live Event Platforms such as Teams Live Event and Stream Live Event, Hardware and Software Encoders, Production tools, eCDN platform etc. Knowledge of streaming media protocols; HLS/HDS (HTTP Live Streaming), DASH, RTMP, RTSP, etc. Working knowledge of Media Codec, formats, transport, and containers protocols such as MPEG2, H.264/AVC (Advance Video Codec), etc. Working knowledge of Streaming Media Servers and CDN/eCDN solutions like MS Stream/TLE and Hive/Kollective/Wowza. Troubleshooting of A/V issues during the Live Event. Understanding on Team live events. Knowledge on ITIL process like SLA management with detailed understanding on classification of (P1, P2, P3, P4) Incidents(tickets), Change management. Video conferencing solution in the environment. Implementation & support experience specifically in the area of Video Conferencing solution & ability to interact with the client teams to understand business requirement which will be both functional and technical. Desire to be hands-on and in the field designing and implementing the solution. Has the ability to answer support client calls, emails, or online chat regarding website troubleshooting, site updates, plugin updates, server or hosting issues, email creation and troubleshooting, etc. Assist with identifying the root cause of problems; manages and resolves issues in a constantly changing environment.
