Job Summary

Netapp SME : • Design and implementation of Dell, Netapp & HP • Installation, configuration and operation of Dell , Netapp & HP • Monitoring and Clone/Mirror/Snap operations using snapmirror/ snapvault • Monitoring and optimization of the performance of the Dell Netapp/HP Enterprise Storage systems , • Design and implementation of SAN which includes installing and configuring of EMC storage boxes and fibre channel switches • Manage fiber Brocade switches (Zoning / VSANs / FC-IP / ISL setup ) • Liaise and work with hardware/software vendors. • Maintenance of user access to allocated storage. • Storage and Fabric availability. • Storage provisioning, LUN Management, LUN masking, zoning, performance management and volume management(Planning, allocations and de-allocations) . • SYMCLI-Configure LUNs, assign LUNs to servers, check and verify server access to LUNs, basic health checks. • Trouble shooting storage related issues. • Provide assistance to various infrastructure teams. • SAN switch ports and fabric monitoring. • Maintain proper backups of switch configurations. • Update necessary storage documents on regular basis(SOPs,Trend,Handover,daily,weekly and monthly reports) • Knowledge on Architecture of Netapp/HP

Key Responsibilities

Replication and Recovery • Carry out the contingency of the testing process of the primary data center • Keep updated, revised and published all necessary procedures for Datacenter activation replicated • Present results of testing contingency and action plan to address the gaps and shortcomings identified during the test • Performance Tuning • Vulnerability technical assessment and remediation • Hardware replacement coordination with Vendors • Migration of on prem workloads to virtual datacenters hosted in AWS/Azure • Configure Backups in AWS and Azure,Deploy IAM Role,Configure and maintaining EC2,EBS Volumes in AWS • Configure S3 Bucket,Setting up infrastructure in Cloud (AWS/Azure)and maintaning it including Networks,Compute,Firewall (NSG),Webapps,SQL(PaaS) • Storage Architecture Planning, Storage Based Migrations, Storage based DR Planning and implementation · Training and Documentation: • Train and orient staff on the use of hardware and software. • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation. · Customer Service: • Take ownership of issues from end-to-end to reach a resolution. • Provide consistent and excellent customer support to all staff levels. • Maintain a positive attitude and high level of professionalism even under stress. · Collaboration and Communication: • Collaborate with subject matter experts for complex problem resolution. • Communicate effectively with end users, managers, and local technical staff. · Additional Duties: • Perform other duties as assigned. • Handle challenging rapid-response user support. • Balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks efficiently. • Provide Meeting room Support as when needed. Shift Coverage: • Standard Support Model: Weekday coverage during standard business hours. • Flexible to work 24x7 Shift Support Model: Rotational shifts (night, weekend, and holiday coverage) as per site/business need. • Flexible working during weekend in case any requirement Qualification - B-Tech or any equivalent bachelor’s degree

Backup & Storage hands on 6 years min
