Job Summary

 The Principal Engineer (PE) is a very specialized technical function within the Managed Network Services offering and provides the highest standards of technical expertise, leadership, and performance. PE plays a pivotal role in leading the technical deployment of large enterprise solutions. The engineer works across, and leverages, multiple technical discipline and provides technical direction to the program and to the technical discipline leads.

The Principal Engineer (PE) must possess the ability to adapt to different customer needs and changing environments with a keen sense of scope and scope change as well as guide others to do so. In addition to the ability to span multiple technologies and deep-dive as needed, to interact heavily with other departments and organizations in order to delight our customers.

 Strong communicator internally and externally directed at clients and third parties ● Must be Strong in Data Analytics with hands on experience in – Oracle BI, SQL ● Experience with and strong understanding of complex network and data center/cloud infrastructures ● Experience with SD WAN ● Nice to have application development/scripting and related skills;

In addition to the ability to span multiple technologies and deep-dive as needed, to interact heavily with other departments and organizations in order to delight our customers.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nPrinciple Engineer – Lifecycle Architecture, Oracle Data Analytics\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n● Responsible for KPI reporting on Oracle BI, should be capable to change the reports as and when requires.\\\\r\\\\n● Responsible for matrix supervision of a team for specific projects, resource management, process documentation, and peer mentoring.\\\\r\\\\n● As a Principal Engineer, you will create client solutions based on business requirements involving advanced networks, data center, security, and virtualization technologies; as well as development of fault and performance management policies and automation rules. \\\\r\\\\n● Close collaboration with Engineering/Planning, IT, Product Development, vendors and various Verizon and external delivery and support teams to manage the design and implementation of client projects.\\\\r\\\\n● Provide technical trainings and support for the Managed Services Operations team.\\\\r\\\\n● Design, implement, and support solutions involving, but not limited to, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VoIP, Data Analytics, Security and Virtual (e.g.; Virtualization, SDN, NFV) technologies.\\\\r\\\\n● Responsible for overseeing customer network documentation such as engineering design document, record of change, and network diagrams.\\\\r\\\\n● Responsible for the protection of Verizon customer proprietary network information and Verizon information assets.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nSkills and Qualifications Expected:\\\\r\\\\n● Strong communicator internally and externally directed at clients and third parties\\\\r\\\\n● Must be Strong in Data Analytics with hands on experience in – Oracle BI, SQL \\\\r\\\\n● Experience with and strong understanding of complex network and data center/cloud infrastructures (CCDP, CCNP, or equivalent level of experience) \\\\r\\\\n● Experience with SD WAN \\\\r\\\\n● Nice to have application development/scripting and related skills;
