Job Summary

 The Network Engineer / Network Design Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure in alignment with customer standards, performance expectations, and redundancy requirements. This role involves close collaboration with customers, vendors, and internal technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable network solutions across global environments. Perform network topology design and network requirement analysis, with a focus on performance, scalability, resiliency, and redundancy. Engage and collaborate with multiple technology vendors across global regions to align network solutions with customer environments and requirements. Provide ongoing support to deployment and transformation initiatives, including coordination with infrastructure and platform teams.

Perform remote configuration of network devices, including but not limited to: Network collectors Switches Routers Wireless infrastructure Firewalls Ensure all configurations comply with customer-defined standards, security policies, and best practices. Work closely with the customer’s technical planners and stakeholders to: Support change management processes Assist with system integration activities Update and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Prepare and maintain network design documents, implementation plans, and technical documentation for assigned tasks and projects. Conduct end-to-end connectivity testing, validate network functionality, and monitor for potential issues. Participate in incident troubleshooting, proactively identifying and resolving network issues in coordination with customer and site teams. Document all network configurations, changes, and technical details related to projects and operational activities. Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and technical walk-throughs to internal network and operations teams.

Strong experience in enterprise network design and implementation Hands-on expertise with routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies Experience supporting global, multi-vendor network environments Knowledge of change management, system integration, and CMDB processes Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams

Other Requirements

Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, equivalent vendor certifications) Experience supporting large-scale transformation or infrastructure modernization projects
