L3 Network Engineer – Site Migration

Key Responsibilities
Create/ Update Site Migration plans in conjunction with Project Managers. • Support end-to-end site migration activities as per approved implementation plans, change records, and migration runbooks. • Assist with Aruba network device onboarding, validation, configuration checks, and site/group alignment in Aruba Central. • Validate wired and wireless network services, including VLANs, SSIDs, client connectivity, authentication flow, and Internet access. • Support Infoblox DDI activities such as DHCP scope creation/validation, DNS resolution checks, IP address verification, and lease troubleshooting. • Perform structured pre-migration and post-migration checks to confirm device health, reachability, DHCP, DNS, routing, and user connectivity. • Provide L3 troubleshooting during migration windows and escalate complex issues to L3 architects, OEM/TAC, security, or cloud teams with clear diagnostic evidence. • Maintain accurate updates in migration trackers, change records, incident tickets, test evidence, and handover documents. • Participate in migration bridges, status calls, hypercare reviews, and operational handover discussions. • Follow change management, incident management, escalation, and documentation processes consistently. • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and updating operational knowledge articles where required.

Other Requirements
Strong understanding of core networking concepts including VLANs, trunks, STP, LACP, routing basics, ARP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, ACLs, and network troubleshooting. • Hands-on experience with Aruba switches, gateways, wireless access points, and Aruba Central operations. • Working knowledge of Infoblox or equivalent DDI platforms for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM operations. • Experience supporting planned change windows, cutover activities, rollback coordination, and post-migration hypercare. • Ability to troubleshoot user connectivity issues across wired, wireless, DHCP, DNS, authentication, and Internet access layers.
