Track Lead - Oracle Administration,PostgreSQL,MYSQL, MS SQL

Job Summary

Starting and stopping DBs, DB backup validations, DB upgrades, validation of DB upgrades during the Tech Refresh upgrade Waves. Check health of DBs, prep for upgrades, perform password checks/resets, and ensure DB health post upgrade.Intake valudation to prevent bad upgrade requests and cancellations that lead to wasted capacity.

Key Responsibilities

Proficiency in database administration (Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, MySQL) Strong SQL skills for querying, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Experience with database backup, recovery, and restore procedures Knowledge of database upgrade and migration processes Familiarity with high availability solutions (clustering, replication, AlwaysOn) Understanding of database security (access controls, encryption, auditing) Experience with database health monitoring and performance optimization Scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments for database hosting Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar change management tools Understanding of ITIL practices
