Job Summary

Job description: - Security Consultant Oracle Cloud Security

 

  • Implementing and maintaining OCI WAF, OCI Firewall & OCI CloudGuard.
  • Provisioning WAF for custom applications, based on consultation with customer.
  • Providing on-going support & Troubleshooting infrastructure problems on WAF, Firewall & CloudGuard.
  • Troubleshooting firewall & WAF related problems as reported by customers.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and/or assessing Oracle Cloud security and SOD controls related to multiple versions of the Oracle Cloud application product suite.
  • Regularly review and refine security configurations, staying abreast of Oracle's product roadmaps, especially concerning security enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibility is to manage and administrate core security components like Firewalls, Cloudguard and Proxy solution. Monitoring of all services is important to ensure all services are up and running. Faster troubleshooting skill to analyze and provide fix at the earliest to user reported incidents.

Skill Requirements

Required skills:

 

  • Experience with OCI native Firewall & OCI WAF, such as Policy administration, NAT implementation & DMZ management.
  • Ensure all network security rules are configured according to least privileged access and best practices following standards. Access controls and firewall rulesets must be in place to ensure that users and Services only have access to the Networks they are authorized to use.
  • Remediation of network security compliance reports generated daily, including the deviation of security standards configurations on a global scale.
  • Performing device replacements and firmware upgrades when required as part of troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting customer authentication incidents mostly related to WAF/Firewall & Cloud guard.
  • Deployment of network firewall in production environment.
  • Monitoring performance and availability of firewall devices using Customer Network Monitoring Tools
  • Advise Web/App Developer to customize website to eliminate/avoid repeated learnings
