Job Summary
Every wave is assigned a lead technical Project Manager (aka Quarterback) Assign resources based on the type and complexity of servers in the wave. Generate the wave runbooks, perform all necessary communication (wave meetings, go-no-go meeting) Ensure pre-requisites are completeted in a timely manner Liaison with App team for all aspects of the wave after schedule through completion
Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in project management tools (ServiceNow, MS Project) Strong Excel skills for runbook generation and wave tracking Experience with change management processes and ITIL practices Knowledge of server infrastructure (Windows/Linux environments) Familiarity with wave scheduling and resource allocation tools Understanding of technical upgrade processes (OS upgrades, clustering, load balancing) Communication and stakeholder coordination skills Experience with incident management and escalation procedures Knowledge of pre-requisite validation and go/no-go decision frameworks
