Job Summary

Experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale VMware-to-Google Compute Engine (GCE) migration programs, driving end-to-end delivery from assessment and design through migration, cutover, and decommissioning while ensuring business continuity and successful VMware exit.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end cloud migration program delivery. Manage discovery, assessment, and target-state design activities. Plan and execute migration waves and cutovers. Coordinate with application, infrastructure, security, and cloud teams. Track risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Drive governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Ensure successful decommissioning of legacy VMware environments.

Skill Requirements

Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially GCE, IAM, and VPC. Good understanding of VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi). Experience with cloud migration tools and migration factory models. Knowledge of networking, storage, security, backup, and disaster recovery. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and project management methodologies.

Other Requirements

7+ years of Technical Project Management experience. 3+ years managing large-scale cloud migration programs. Proven experience delivering VMware exit or 1,000+ VM migration projects. Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Relevant GCP or Project Management certifications are preferred.
