Track Lead - Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Cluster

Job Summary

Execute all engineering pre-tasks including collecting server information, validating access, preparing runbooks, and additionally, executing LEAAP scripts that upgrade the server Debug and help resolve any of the standard issues that could prevent a server from upgrade. Linux Engineer peer review the work of other engineers and ensure readiness and health of an upgraded server.

Key Responsibilities

Proficiency in Linux/RHEL 7.X, 8.X, 9.X administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python) Experience with LEAPP upgrade tools and migration utilities Strong knowledge of Linux file systems, networking, and security configurations Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible) Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) Troubleshooting skills for Linux kernel, boot issues, and system performance Understanding of enterprise monitoring tools and log analysis Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar change management tools Understanding of ITIL practices
