Job Summary

Linux System Administrator Description: We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to manage core OS infrastructure. The role is responsible for ensuring server reliability, automating routine administration tasks, managing package and patch operations, and maintaining strong system security standards. The candidate will collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Cloud infrastructure teams to maximize system availability. Key Responsibilities: System Administration & Management Install and configure stable Linux distributions such as Red Hat (RHEL), Ubuntu, Debian, or CentOS. Manage disk storage utilizing Logical Volume Management (LVM) and partition layouts. Handle user management including accounts, groups, permissions, and centralized sudo access controls. Orchestrate backup policies and execute rapid disaster recovery procedures for critical files. Automation & Scripting Write automation scripts in Bash, Python to eliminate manual repetitive tasks. Deploy configuration tools like Ansible, for server fleet orchestration. Schedule background cron jobs to handle regular maintenance scripts and automation workflows.
