L3 BASIS support
Problem troubleshooting and resolution for escalated calls for different flavors of SAP products etc – ECC, SCM, BI, BW, BO, GRC, SolMan etc.
Designing , setting up and reorganization of SAP system landscapes
New SAP installation/ re-installation and configuration
SWPM export/imports, OS-DB migrations in SAP landscape
Homogenous / Heterogenous system copy
SPS level/EHPs/SAP Release upgrades & maintenance in all flavors of SAP products e.g. ECC, SCM, BI, BW, BO, GRC, SOlMan etc.
Implementing & Managing SAP Support Practices.
Planning and managing support packages and kernel patch upgradations, client copies/ transports
Profile / Role management and authorization management and recommendations based on best practices during day to day operations.
Configuring/ re-configuring system log / alert thresholds.
STMS(CTS+) configurations for ABAP & JAVA transports & various STMS problem solving skills
Ability to support mission critical support 24*7 for PROD environment
Setting up SAP Logon groups
Automatic Note application through SNOTE
Printer Configuration
Team Lead entire basis support personnel
Guiding the team technically in all areas of service defined within SAP BASIS areas
Coordination with and supporting the functional team as per requirements.
Responsibility of Entire Basis operation and Internal and external Escalations
OS Upgrade, Patch Level Management and upgrades
Database restoration and recovery in DB2, Orcale, LCA (MaxDB)
Planning and executing database upgrades in DB2, Oracle, SAP LCA (MaxDB)
Database Verification – Checking Physical Structure
Database restoration and recovery
Review of DB2 parameters, analysis and recommendations for changes to optimize performance.
Evaluating Results of the DB System Check
DB and index reorganization
Resolution of dead locks and timeouts
Maintenance of DR Standby server, if available

Skill Requirements
2. Strong customer and team management skills. Good communication skills with ability to articulate and convey the message logically
3. Understanding of SAP�s product strategy, including positioning of S/4 HANA and Azure cloud offerings
4. Experience of leading end-to-end SAP enabled business transformation programme
5. Strong knowledge of SAP solution suite and ability to translate business challenges into SAP solutions
6. Ability to interact with Application Team and Functional Architects for upcoming SAP projects / releases
