Job Summary

The Track Lead for SharePoint Administration plays a pivotal role in managing support and operations, focusing on continuous improvement and problem-solving. This position is essential in ensuring that client SLAs are met while empowering teams through effective people management. The incumbent will lead operational initiatives that enhance reporting, streamline processes, and drive innovation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage "Tenant SharePoint Online Platform" with high privileged admin rights and ensure
all configurations are in-tact with industry best practices.
• Act as platform architect, to rollout, steer and govern SharePoint evergreen changes
announced in message center (including new product release, retirement of any features, end user
communication, end to end technical implementation, stakeholder communication)
• Single point of contact for any SharePoint online related topics including platform admin
configurations, evergreen changes, end-user demands, project consultation, design & architecture
review, implementing business solutions and end-user support (L3, L4)
• Act as an application manager or co-owner of multiple SharePoint‑related internal processes
(SharePoint site ownership, classification, access reviews, lifecycle management), policies, related
documents and governance standards.
• Act as "Migration Expert", to support ongoing migrations in SharePoint Online, OneDrive, using
ShareGate tool
• Act as "Security and Compliance Expert" on reviewing existing SharePoint online admin
configuration, to be at par with EU GDPR standards and ensure the platform is provided without
any security loophole.
2. Documentation, Standards & Compliance Ownership
• Maintain and update multiple official Desktop Procedures, including:
• Ensure documents meet GDPR, internal Security, and Compliance requirements with mandated
review cycles.
3. Stakeholder Management & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with:
• Application Owners
• Team Leads
• Product Owners
• Compliance & Data Protection teams
• Workplace teams
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
• Deep expertise in:
• SharePoint Online architecture, content services, and governance
• Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Audit)
• Entra Service Application Principal, RBAC, Delegate & Application permissions, Graph API
permissions, Conditional access policies
• M365 collaboration stack (Teams, Planner, Loop, Whiteboard, Clipchamp, Viva and Copilot)
• Experience authoring enterprise governance documents and ACC/TOM procedures.
• Strong command of PowerShell, SharePoint PnP modules, Graph API scripting, and automation
frameworks.
• Ability to build workflows using Power Automate or assist in Power Platform automation
integration.
• Microsoft 365 admin center toolsets
• Preferred hands‑on experience with:
• SPFx (SharePoint Framework)
• TypeScript, React, Node.js
• Graph API integrations
Professional Experience
• Mandatory 8–12+ years in M365/SharePoint architecture roles managing tenant
configuration as "SharePoint tenant admin".
• Demonstrated application of ownership or enterprise governance responsibilities.
• Strong experience collaborating with infosec, compliance, and legal teams.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

2. Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Implement Process Improvements In Sharepoint Environments.

4. In-Depth Knowledge Of Operational Management Principles And Client Sla Adherence.
