Agentic AI & Automation – Network (L3) Job Description Role Summary The L3 Agentic AI & Automation – Network Engineer is responsible for architecting, designing, and optimizing advanced AI-driven network monitoring, automation, and orchestration solutions. This role provides deep technical expertise, leads complex incident resolution, drives automation strategy, and ensures continuous service improvement through intelligent and autonomous operations. Key Responsibilities • Lead L3 troubleshooting for complex network incidents, involving deep analysis across multi-domain environments • Design and implement agentic AI solutions for autonomous network operations and self-healing systems • Develop advanced automation frameworks, reusable playbooks, and orchestration pipelines • Define event correlation logic, anomaly detection models, and predictive analytics use cases • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to enhance observability and AIOps platforms • Drive integration between monitoring tools, automation platforms, and ITSM systems for closed-loop remediation • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and define preventive automation strategies • Establish governance for automation, including version control, testing, and deployment standards • Lead SIP/CIP initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce MTTR • Mentor L1/L2 teams and provide technical leadership and knowledge sharing Required Skills • Expert-level knowledge of networking (Routing, Switching, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, SD-WAN) • Strong experience in AIOps platforms and AI/ML-driven observability solutions • Advanced scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, APIs integration) • Experience with automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines) • Deep understanding of ITIL processes (Event, Incident, Problem, Change Management) • Experience in complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments • Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field • Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, ITIL Intermediate/Expert • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments • Exposure to advanced AI/ML models, data analytics, and observability pipelines • Experience in large-scale 24x7 NOC/SOC environments Key KPIs • Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) • Mean Time to Acknowledge (MTTA) • Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) • Automation maturity index (coverage and effectiveness) • Reduction in repeat incidents (%) • Self-healing success rate (%) • SLA compliance and service availability Tools & Technologies • AIOps & Observability: Dynatrace, Splunk, Moogsoft, Azure Monitor, Grafana • Automation & Orchestration: Ansible, Terraform, Python, CI/CD tools • ITSM: ServiceNow, Remedy • Networking: Cisco, Juniper, SD-WAN platforms • Cloud: Azure, AWS, GCP • Collaboration: MS Teams, Incident Bridge Platforms
