Job Summary
highly skilled Senior AI Automation Engineer to join the IT Process Automation (ITPA) team and lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered automation solutions across IT and business functions. This role will focus on transforming manual processes into intelligent, autonomous workflows by leveraging AI, Generative AI, enterprise data, ServiceNow, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and automation technologies. The ideal candidate will sit in Chennai and have a combined expertise in AI, data engineering, workflow automation, and enterprise platforms to deliver scalable business solutions that improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Automation Strategy • Design and implement AI-powered automation solutions across IT operations and business processes. • Identify automation opportunities and convert them into scalable AI-driven services. • Define standards, architecture, and best practices for enterprise AI and automation solutions. AI Agent Development • Build and deploy AI agents, assistants, and copilots using enterprise data sources. • Develop multi-agent workflows integrating LLMs, knowledge bases, and business systems. • Implement AI orchestration frameworks to coordinate multiple AI services and agents. • Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, semantic search, and MCP-based integrations for enterprise AI solutions. Enterprise Automation • Design end-to-end automated workflows using ServiceNow, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and other automation platforms. • Integrate AI capabilities into existing business processes and operational workflows. • Develop intelligent self-service and virtual assistant solutions. Data & AI Engineering • Query, transform, and prepare data from enterprise systems (ServiceNow, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Platforms, etc.). • Enable AI models and analytics using reliable data pipelines and governance practices. • Ensure proper data consumption, security, and compliance standards. Platform Integration • Integrate AI technologies with ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure, ERP, HR, and business applications. • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to ensure secure and scalable implementations. Operational Excellence • Optimize AI solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. • Monitor solution adoption, business value, and operational KPIs. • Drive continuous innovation by evaluating emerging AI technologies and automation capabilities.
Skill Requirements
8+ years of experience in AI, Automation, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Application Development. • Proven experience building AI-powered applications in production environments. • Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, and enterprise AI integrations. • Strong development and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, SQL). • Experience with ServiceNow development and workflow automation. • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable). • Experience integrating business systems and enterprise platforms. • Ability to independently lead projects from concept through deployment.
Other Requirements
Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, and Power Platform. • Experience with Automation Tool or AI tool. • Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or AI orchestration frameworks. • Knowledge of ServiceNow GenAI and Now Assist capabilities. • Experience in IT Operations, ITSM. • AI, Azure, Databricks, or ServiceNow certifications.
