Track Lead - Vmware Workspace ONE

Job Summary

OS Proficiency: Deep administrative knowledge of both Windows and macOS operating systems. Scripting Skills: Strong hands-on experience writing operational scripts in PowerShell, Bash, and VBScript. Tool Expertise: * Experience with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solutions, specifically VMware Workspace ONE (WS1). Experience with systems management tools like Symantec Altiris. Hands-on experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) tools, specifically Nexthink.

Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW) and Flexera. Infrastructure: Working knowledge of Active Directory (Group Policy, OUs) and familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

Software Deployment & Packaging: Design, test, and package software applications for seamless, zero-touch deployments across both macOS and Windows environments. Manage the full lifecycle of software releases, including updates, rollbacks, and retirement.

2. Scripting & Automation: * Write and maintain custom scripts using PowerShell (ps1), Bash, and VBScript to automate routine tasks, enforce configurations, and streamline deployments.

3. Endpoint Remediation & Management: Administer and utilize Workspace ONE (WS1) for device provisioning, compliance enforcement, and automated remediation of endpoint issues.

 4. Patch & Infrastructure Management: Drive the patch management process for operating systems and third-party applications to ensure a secure environment.

5. Device Monitoring & Digital Experience: Utilize Nexthink for advanced device monitoring, performance telemetry, and proactive troubleshooting to enhance the end-user computing experience.

6. Software Asset & Inventory Management: Track and manage software lifecycle and license compliance.

7. Integrate and maintain software inventory data using ServiceNow (SNOW) and Flexera.
