Job Summary

Architecture & Deployment\\r\\n• Design, deploy, and manage scalable SD-WAN architectures using Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR, and MG series).\\r\\n• Implement policy-based routing, intelligent traffic steering, and application-aware routing across multiple WAN links.\\r\\n• Configure and manage site-to-site VPNs, client VPNs, and network security policies including firewalls, content filtering, and IDS/IPS. \\r\\nReliability & Performance\\r\\n• Establish network observability, telemetry, and alerting. Utilize the Meraki Dashboard to monitor packet loss, latency, and throughput across the environment.\\r\\n• Proactively identify and troubleshoot network bottlenecks, latency issues, and connectivity failures to ensure high availability.\\r\\n• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on network outages and implement permanent mitigations\\r\\nAutomation & Scaling\\r\\n• Automate routine network configurations, firmware updates, patching, and lifecycle management tasks to reduce manual intervention.\\r\\n• Utilize network APIs (e.g., Meraki Dashboard API) and automation frameworks (like Python or Ansible) to streamline operations and enforce configuration consistency.\\r\\n• Evaluate and optimize Quality of Service (QoS) for business-critical SaaS applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Zoom).\\r\\nCollaboration & Support\\r\\n• Provide L3 escalation support for complex network incidents.\\r\\n• Collaborate closely with ISP providers to quickly resolve circuit or last-mile connectivity issues.\\r\\n• Maintain and update network documentation, topology diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\\r\\n

Skill Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience in enterprise WAN/LAN administration.\\r\\n• Core Technologies: In-depth knowledge of Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, MX Security Appliances, MS Switches, and MR Wireless Access Points. \\r\\n• Routing & Switching: Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF). \\r\\n• Automation: Proficiency in scripting/automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.\\r\\n• Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise, or Meraki-specific certifications (e.g., CMNO) are highly preferred.\\r\\n
