Job Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Level 3 DLP Engineer to lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions using Zscaler platform. The role focuses on strategy, governance, and advanced data protection capabilities across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement enterprise DLP architecture using Zscaler platform

- Define and drive data protection strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements

- Architect Zscaler DLP policies for structured and unstructured data protection

- Integrate Zscaler DLP with other security tools (CASB, SIEM, IAM, Endpoint Security)

- Lead critical incident response for data exfiltration and insider threat cases

- Perform advanced data classification, discovery, and protection strategy design

- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of DLP policies and controls

- Automate DLP processes using scripting/API integrations

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L1/L2 teams

- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and audit teams for regulatory alignment (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)

Skill Requirements

Required Skills:

- Strong expertise in Zscaler DLP (ZIA, ZPA integrations preferred)

- Deep understanding of data classification, labeling, and protection frameworks

- Experience in designing large-scale DLP implementations

- Strong knowledge of network security, proxy architecture, and SSL inspection

- Experience with API integrations and automation

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Other Requirements

Good to Have:

- Experience with other DLP platforms (Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint, Netskope)

- Knowledge of CASB/SSE architectures and Zero Trust

- Cloud security experience (Azure/AWS/GCP)

 

Certifications (Preferred):

- Zscaler Certified Cloud Security Specialist (ZCCS)

- CISSP / CISM

 

Soft Skills:

- Strong stakeholder and client management

- Leadership and mentoring capabilities

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to drive strategic initiatives
