Job Summary

IGA Migration Lead (L3) Lot 3 – Identity Governance Migration (EmpowerID to Microsoft Entra ID Governance) Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore Experience: 10–12 Years Role Summary The IGA Migration Lead (L3) will be responsible for leading the migration of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) capabilities from EmpowerID to Microsoft Entra ID Governance. The role will drive migration strategy, governance, architecture alignment, access governance transformation, and stakeholder management to ensure a secure and successful transition while maintaining compliance and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end migration program from EmpowerID to Microsoft Entra ID Governance, including planning, design, deployment, and stabilization activities. • Define migration strategies, governance frameworks, implementation roadmaps, and target operating models for identity governance services. • Conduct assessments of current IAM and IGA processes, including role models, entitlement structures, access certification campaigns, approval workflows, and lifecycle management processes. • Design and implement future-state identity governance capabilities leveraging Entra ID Governance features such as Entitlement Management, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Workflows, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). • Work closely with Security, Infrastructure, HR, Compliance, Application Owners, and Business stakeholders to manage migration requirements and dependencies. • Oversee migration of users, groups, access packages, entitlement catalogs, approval workflows, and governance processes while ensuring data integrity and compliance. • Lead testing, validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, and post-migration support activities. • Identify and mitigate migration risks, security concerns, audit findings, and compliance gaps throughout the project lifecycle. • Drive governance meetings, executive reporting, stakeholder communications, and status reviews. • Support process standardization, automation, and continual improvement initiatives within the identity governance landscape. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to migration analysts and IAM support teams.
