Job Summary
Network – SD-WAN Router Management L3 Experience: 9–12 years Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru Support model: 24x7 rotational support
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities Lead Sev-1/Sev-2 restoration for multi-region SD-WAN, routing, overlay/control-plane, carrier, cloud and application-path failures. Own design and optimisation of underlay/overlay, routing policy, high availability, path selection, segmentation, QoS, internet/MPLS strategy and cloud connectivity. Review and approve HLD/LLD, templates, policy changes, migration plans, BOMs, capacity models, DR/failover tests and rollback strategies. Lead SD-WAN integration with Azure, ExpressRoute/VPN, hub-and-spoke networks, firewalls/SASE, DNS/IPAM and Azure Local environments. Provide technical leadership for Amsterdam/Slough migration, colocation changes and workload cutovers, including route, firewall, DNS, application-port and user-path validation. Establish NRE/SRE controls for availability, latency, loss, jitter, error budgets, failure-domain testing, capacity forecasting and ISP performance management. Define safe automation policy envelopes for failover validation, dynamic traffic steering, drift remediation, carrier workflow initiation and closed-loop recovery. Design end-to-end observability using SD-WAN platforms, SolarWinds, Datadog and ServiceNow ITOM; enable cross-domain correlation with applications, cloud and user experience. Conduct architectural RCA, vendor/OEM escalation, lifecycle planning, technical-debt reduction and service improvement governance. Lead API/IaC automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform and Git controls; mentor L1/L2 and develop reusable engineering standards.
Skill Requirements
Technical skills: Expert BGP/OSPF, VPN, VRF, QoS, application routing, SD-WAN policy and controller architecture; Aruba EdgeConnect/Silver Peak, Cisco SD-WAN/Meraki or equivalent; Azure networking; SASE/security integration; observability; automation and infrastructure-as-code. Preferred certifications: Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCNP Enterprise; advanced vendor SD-WAN certification; Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate; network automation credential; ITIL Foundation or Managing Professional.
