Job Summary

This role drives operational excellence in large-scale network environments by leveraging advanced network automation and data skills. The position is responsible for optimizing support processes, ensuring high service quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The individual empowers teams, implements innovative solutions, and ensures alignment with client service level agreements, contributing directly to organizational performance and client satisfaction.

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Automation & Social Network Development Engineer to design, develop, and operate automated network solutions while enabling collaboration and integration within enterprise social platforms. The role focuses on driving automation across network operations and building intelligent workflows that integrate with enterprise tools and social collaboration ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead advanced automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, and network orchestration tools to streamline network operations and improve service delivery.
2. Oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of network data solutions using technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, and SDN platforms to support large-scale, complex projects.
3. Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing automated monitoring and reporting solutions with tools like NetOps, REST APIs, and SNMP.
4. Provide expert guidance to the support team in troubleshooting and resolving complex network automation and data issues, ensuring adherence to client SLAs.
5. Mentor and empower team members by sharing expertise in network automation frameworks and best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret client requirements and translate them into robust, automated network solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
7. Champion the adoption of new network automation technologies and methodologies, leading pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives to drive organizational progress.

 

Network Automation • Design, develop, and implement network automation solutions for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure. • Build reusable automation components (scripts, templates, workflows) to standardize operations and improve efficiency. • Automate incident management, configuration changes, and service requests integrated with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow). • Implement CI/CD pipelines, version control, and testing frameworks for automation code. • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and optimization of automated workflows. Social Network Development (Enterprise Collaboration) • Develop and integrate tools that enable collaboration through enterprise social platforms (e.g., Teams, APIs, workflow bots). • Build automation-driven notifications, alerts, and knowledge-sharing mechanisms across social channels. • Design user-centric dashboards and self-service portals for network operations. • Enable integration between network systems and collaboration tools for real-time communication and insights. Network Engineering & Integration • Support LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, cloud, and hybrid network environments. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and secure network operations. • Collaborate with network, DevOps, and application teams to translate requirements into automation use cases. Governance & Best Practices • Maintain documentation, standards, and design artifacts. • Implement security, compliance, and audit controls within automation workflows. • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in automation and collaboration.

1. Excellent Knowledge Of Network Data Management, Including Experience With Cisco, Juniper, Sdn, And Netops Platforms.
2. Strong Ability To Design And Implement Complex Network Automation Workflows And Monitoring Solutions.
3. Advanced Troubleshooting Skills In LargeScale Network Environments.
4. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor Technical Teams.
5. Solid Understanding Of Itil Processes And Best Practices In Network Operations.

Required Skills Technical Skills • Programming: Python, Go, or Node.js • Automation Tools: Ansible, iTential, Terraform, REST APIs • CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket • Networking: Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, Firewalls • Platforms: Cisco, Arista, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) • ITSM Integration: ServiceNow Social & Integration Skills • Experience with Microsoft Teams integrations, bots, or APIs • Knowledge of workflow automation and enterprise collaboration tools • API-based integration and microservices development (FastAPI, etc.) Experience & Qualifications • 5–10 years of experience in Network Automation, DevOps, or Network Engineering • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and automation frameworks • Experience in enterprise-scale environments and production support • Certifications (preferred): CCNA/CCNP, DevNet, Automation-related certifications Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset • Excellent communication and stakeholder management • Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams • Proactive and innovation-focused approach Good to Have • Knowledge of observability tools (Splunk, ThousandEyes) • Experience in zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) and AI-driven automation • Exposure to low-code/no-code automation platforms Outcome Expectations • Reduced manual effort and operational overhead • Improved network reliability and service delivery • Enhanced collaboration through integrated social platforms • Faster incident resolution and automation-driven operations

Other Requirements

1. Certifications such as Cisco Certified DevNet Expert (CCDE), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE), or equivalent are highly recommended.
2. ITIL Expert certification is optional but valuable
