Job Summary
Wireless Network acts as the highest level of technical escalation for complex wireless issues, providing expert-level support, advanced troubleshooting, and architectural guidance. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security of enterprise wireless networks while driving innovations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
2. Oversee network operations by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing network performance with Cisco Prime, DNA Center, and SDWAN management platforms, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Architect and implement advanced network changes and upgrades using Cisco IOS, Catalyst, and Meraki solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational and client requirements.
4. Mentor and guide the support team in troubleshooting, escalation management, and adoption of best practices for Cisco networking technologies and SDWAN.
5. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into actionable network operations strategies using Cisco and SDWAN toolsets.
6. Drive process innovation by evaluating emerging Cisco networking and SDWAN technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and security.
7. Ensure robust documentation, knowledge transfer, and transparent communication of network operations policies and procedures across teams.
Skill Requirements
Expert-level understanding of: Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/6E) RF fundamentals (SNR, RSSI, noise floor, interference) Strong experience with: Cisco (WLC, Catalyst 9800, Meraki, DNA Center) Aruba (Mobility Controllers, ClearPass) Juniper Mist / Ruckus (optional) Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP basics) DHCP, DNS, NAT
