Job Summary

 File Share Management (FSM) Engineer – Manager

Key Responsibilities

 Lead and manage the File Share Management support team. Oversee administration of Windows File Servers, NAS storage, and cloud-based file share platforms. Define and enforce file share governance, access control, and security policies. Manage folder structures, NTFS permissions, and share-level permissions. Oversee user/group access provisioning through Active Directory and Entra ID. Lead file share migrations and consolidation projects. Ensure backup, recovery, and business continuity requirements are met. Monitor file server capacity, performance, and availability. Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities. Ensure compliance with data retention, audit, and security requirements. Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Storage, and Service Desk teams. Manage service reporting, KPIs, SLAs, and operational reviews. Drive automation and process improvement initiatives.
