Job Summary

This role is accountable for overseeing perimeter security operations, ensuring robust firewall management, and driving operational excellence for large-scale projects. The individual leverages expert knowledge of Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, and related security platforms to enhance security postures, streamline processes, and deliver on client commitments. They empower teams, resolve complex security challenges, and champion innovation in security operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expert oversight in Firewall administration and troubleshooting using Cisco ASA and Checkpoint, ensuring optimal network perimeter security and compliance with client SLAs.
2. Lead and guide operational teams in implementing and maintaining security solutions with SOURCEFIRE and IRONPORT, proactively identifying and mitigating threats.
3. Develop and refine operational processes for firewall and perimeter security management, leveraging automation and advanced monitoring tools to drive continuous improvement.
4. Mentor and empower team members in advanced firewall technologies, fostering knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.
5. Analyze and respond to complex security incidents, coordinating the resolution process and implementing preventive measures using Cisco ASA and Checkpoint.
6. Serve as the escalation point for critical firewall-related issues, providing strategic solutions that align with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
7. Evaluate and integrate new security tools and methodologies, driving innovation in the perimeter security landscape.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Managing Sourcefire And Ironport Security Solutions For Perimeter Defense.
2. Excellent Skills In Network Security Monitoring, Incident Response, And Threat Analysis.
3. InDepth Understanding Of Security Protocols, Vpns, Nat, And Firewall Policy Management.
4. Strong Analytical And ProblemSolving Abilities For Complex Operational Challenges.
5. Excellent Communication And Team Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Mentor And Empower Technical Teams.
