Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY Owns vulnerability remediation on the Citrix Netscaler / ADC load balancer estate in the exposed zone. High-impact platform for application availability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ■ Triage and remediate Citrix ADC / Netscaler vulnerabilities within 24h, including major-CVE response. ■ Apply firmware upgrades and configuration mitigations on HA pairs. ■ Coordinate with application owners to maintain user-facing availability. ■ Manage SSL / TLS posture (certificates, ciphers, protocols). ■ Maintain runbooks for emergency response on major Netscaler CVEs. ■ Feed automation backlog. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS ■ Deep Citrix ADC / Netscaler administration: load balancing, content switching, SSL offload, AAA. ■ Strong understanding of firmware upgrade procedures and HA patching. ■ Familiarity with vendor advisories and rapid-response playbooks. ■ Comfortable with TLS hardening and certificate management. PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE ■ Citrix Certified Associate / Professional — Networking. ■ Scripting against Netscaler NITRO API. EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS ■ 5+ years operating Citrix ADC / Netscaler at scale. ■ Certifications: CC-NET-A or higher. SOFT SKILLS ■ Methodical change management. ■ Strong communication during user-impacting maintenance. ■ Calm under critical-CVE pressure.
