Job Summary
Role Overview
A Citrix Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing Citrix solutions to ensure efficient and secure delivery of applications and desktops. This position demands a high level of expertise in Citrix technologies, along with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Architecture: Develop and design robust Citrix infrastructure solutions that align with the organization's IT strategy and objectives.
Implementation: Lead the deployment and configuration of Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, and other related technologies.
Management and Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and optimize Citrix environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Support: Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Citrix-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Citrix environments, including design plans, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Training and Mentorship: Offer guidance and training to IT staff and end-users on Citrix technologies and best practices.
Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in Citrix technologies to provide innovative solutions and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
2. Oversee incident management and root cause analysis using Citrix Director and Citrix Studio, driving rapid resolution and minimizing service disruptions.
3. Administer and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant virtual workspace delivery.
4. Collaborate within the support team to refine operational processes using Citrix tools, PowerShell automation, and monitoring platforms for proactive environment management.
5. Mentor and guide team members in advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and patch management for Citrix technologies, fostering skill development and operational excellence.
6. Analyze client requirements and translate them into actionable Citrix-based solutions, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual SLAs and business needs.
7. Champion process innovation by evaluating and integrating new Citrix features or third-party tools to enhance virtualization efficiency and user experience.
Skill Requirements
2. InDepth Knowledge Of Citrix Netscaler/Adc, Storefront, And Citrix Profile Management.
3. Excellent Abilities In Powershell Scripting For Citrix Automation And Reporting.
4. Strong Understanding Of Windows Server Administration And Active Directory Integration With Citrix.
5. Advanced Troubleshooting Skills For Complex Citrix Infrastructure And EndUser Issues.
6. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Mentor Teams And Manage HighComplexity Operations.
