Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the support and operations of complex and large-scale environments utilizing Commvault and Azure technologies. The individual ensures operational excellence, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and empowers teams to deliver high-quality service aligned with client expectations and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end operations for data backup and disaster recovery using Commvault and Azure, ensuring high system availability and meeting stringent client SLAs.
2. Oversee optimization of backup, restore, and archival processes leveraging Commvault features and Azure cloud capabilities, driving operational efficiency.
3. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex incidents involving Commvault and Azure, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact.
4. Mentor and guide team members in advanced Commvault configurations, Azure automation, and security best practices, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
5. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational data, identifying automation opportunities, and implementing innovative solutions using Azure native tools and Commvault integrations.
6. Collaborate within the team to align support activities with evolving client requirements, ensuring transparent communication and proactive risk management.
7. Develop and maintain comprehensive operational documentation for backup, disaster recovery, and cloud management processes, supporting compliance and audit readiness.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Knowledge Of Azure Cloud Services, Including Storage, Automation, Security, And Monitoring For Backup And Disaster Recovery Scenarios.
2. Advanced Skills In Scripting And Automation Using Powershell Or Azure Cli To Streamline Operational Tasks.
3. Strong Understanding Of Itil Processes And Best Practices In Service Operations.
4. Excellent ProblemSolving, Analytical, And Mentoring Skills, With A Focus On Operational Excellence And Innovation.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
