Job Summary

The L3 Support Engineer will provide SME-level support, troubleshooting, and optimization for Appgate ZTNA and iBoss SWG platforms in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administration of Appgate controllers, gateways, connectors, and client agents • ZTNA policy configuration, entitlement management, and access troubleshooting • Platform monitoring, log analysis, and health checks, Client connectivity, authentication, and SSO issue resolution • iBoss SWG administration and configuration • Web filtering, URL/category management, SSL inspection, and policy tuning, Agent/PAC behavior troubleshooting and client-side issues • Perform policy and configuration changes using Config-as-Code (CaC) workflows validate changes through CI/CD pipelines and change governance processes • Familiarity with pipeline tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) to run validation testing and automate platform API calls. • Root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fix implementation • Platform monitoring/alerting and integration with enterprise monitoring tools • Creation and maintenance of SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles • Scripting / automation exposure (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus • Work with cross-functional teams (Network, Security, Identity, SOC)
