Track Manager - EMC Avamar, EMC NetWorker

Job Summary

This role oversees the operations management of enterprise-scale backup and data protection environments, leveraging deep expertise in EMC Avamar, EMC Legato, and Rubrik Cloud Data Management platforms. The position is responsible for driving continuous process improvement, ensuring operational excellence, and meeting stringent client SLAs while mentoring support teams and fostering innovation in data protection practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead operations management using EMC Avamar and EMC Legato, ensuring robust data backup, recovery, and retention processes that adhere to client SLAs and compliance requirements.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data from Rubrik CDM and EMC platforms, recommending and implementing process enhancements for greater efficiency and reliability.
3. Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to support teams on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and complex issue resolution involving Rubrik and EMC data protection technologies.
4. Oversee incident and change management workflows, utilizing Rubrik and EMC toolsets to minimize downtime and ensure prompt, effective service restoration.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement innovative solutions for data lifecycle management, leveraging the advanced features of Rubrik CDM and EMC Legato.
6. Ensure transparent communication of project and operational goals, facilitating knowledge sharing and strategic alignment within the team.
7. Evaluate and introduce emerging data protection technologies and automation tools, driving innovation in operational processes and service delivery.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Knowledge Of Backup, Recovery, Archiving, And Disaster Recovery Strategies In Enterprise Environments.
2. Advanced Skills In Troubleshooting, Performance Tuning, And Root Cause Analysis For Emc And Rubrik Solutions.
3. Strong Understanding Of Incident, Problem, And Change Management Processes In ItilBased Operations.
4. Excellent Leadership, Mentoring, And Communication Skills To Drive Team Performance And Operational Goals.
5. InDepth Experience With Automation, Scripting, And Process Optimization In Data Protection Operations.

Other Requirements

1. Optional but valuable: EMC Proven Professional Certification (EMCIE or EMCCA), Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator (RCSA)
