Track Manager - High Performance Computing, Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Job Summary

This role oversees end-to-end operations for complex, large-scale high-performance computing environments, ensuring robust service delivery, process innovation, and continuous improvement. The position drives operational excellence, empowers technical teams, and ensures alignment with client service levels by leveraging advanced expertise in NetApp storage, RedHat Linux, and HPC platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead operational management of HPC environments utilizing NetApp storage systems and RedHat Linux, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity across critical workloads.
2. Architect and implement advanced storage solutions using NetApp ONTAP, integrating with RedHat Linux and Azure Cloud to support evolving business and client requirements.
3. Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of Load Sharing Facility (LSF) for seamless scheduling and resource allocation, maximizing computational efficiency.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational workflows and leveraging automation tools within NetApp, RedHat Linux, and Azure Cloud platforms.
5. Mentor and guide support teams in troubleshooting complex issues related to storage, compute, and HPC operations, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
6. Ensure adherence to client SLAs by proactively monitoring system health, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures across NetApp and Linux environments.
7. Collaborate within the team to introduce innovative solutions, streamline support processes, and enhance overall organizational performance in HPC operations.
8. Champion best practices for security, compliance, and backup strategies in line with industry standards for NetApp storage and RedHat Linux deployments.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Knowledge Of Redhat Linux Systems, Advanced Troubleshooting, Security Hardening, And Automation (Ansible/Shell Scripting).
2. Expert Experience With Hpc Environments, Including Load Sharing Facility (Lsf) For Job Scheduling And Resource Management.
3. Solid Understanding Of Azure Cloud Integration With Storage And Compute Resources In Hybrid Hpc Setups.
4. Excellent Ability To Lead, Mentor, And Empower Technical Teams In HighPressure Operational Settings.
5. Advanced Proficiency In Process Improvement, Incident Management, And Implementing Operational Best Practices.

Other Requirements

1. NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE) � optional but highly valuable.
2. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) � optional but highly valuable.
3. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate � optional but recommended

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
