Job Summary

Job Summary : Role Purpose A Windows Access Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) plays a pivotal role in ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access to Windows-based systems across the enterprise. Your expertise is essential for maintaining operational integrity, preventing unauthorised access, and enabling smooth service delivery across the organisation. What you’ll Do Manage user / non-user accounts and access across Windows environments. Administer privileged access controls and ensure secure permissions. Follow SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance rules for Windows systems and regularly review and improve these processes to make them more effective. Lead onboarding, access recertification, audit remediation, and automation efforts. Provide consultancy on large/complex initiatives ensuring full service introduction governance. Help shape how Windows access is managed as identity and access management continues to change. Stay flexible and ready to work with new technologies, whether they bring opportunities or challenges. Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments related to access provisioning. Ensure alignment with least privilege principles (including Role Based Access) and group security standards. Monitor and maintain data integrity across our provisioning platforms. What you’ll need Consistent record of working in an IAM role with strong operational and ITIL experience. Solid understanding of the identity management lifecycle, access governance and privileged access management. Strong understanding of modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and how they align with the Group’s strategic goals. Hands-on experience of tools like Active Directory, PowerShell, Entra, OIM and/or SailPoint, CyberArk, Quest Active Roles Server (QARS), Exchange Online. Works well under pressure and has strong organising and delivery skills. Working with a range of information to provide informative analysis to key partners using tools like MS Excel, Power BI and SQL. Ability to establish and maintain relationships within the team and across the wider business. Producing and utilising data/MI to manage service operations in both normal run and extraordinary/recovery situation. Experience collaborating in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, using platforms like JIRA for task management, progress tracking, and encouraging teamwork. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong stakeholder management with ability to handle tasks effectively. It would be great if you also had Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS). Knowledge and/or experience of Python programming language. Knowledge and/or experience of Power Automate to help streamline repetitive tasks, improve productivity, and integrate systems. Knowledge and/or experience of GitHub for collaborative software development
