Job Summary

Job Responsibilities : • Own AIX vulnerability remediation and patching strategy, readiness, execution, validation and rollback. • Administer and optimize NIM infrastructure, mksysb/spot/lpp_source workflows and scalable patch deployment. • Lead AIX security hardening, technology-level/service-pack planning and complex troubleshooting. • Build automation using Ansible and Shell for pre-checks, deployment, validation, evidence and reporting. • Assess PowerVM, VIOS, LPAR, storage, network and application dependencies before implementation. • Create runbooks and standards, conduct technical reviews and mentor E2.2 engineers. • Lead customer-facing technical calls, articulate risk and downtime requirements, and drive remediation decisions.
Job Summary : Lead AIX security remediation, NIM-based patching, automation and complex platform recovery across enterprise midrange environments.
Job Description : • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.\\\\r\\\\n• IBM AIX/Power certification, ITIL or relevant security certification\\\\r\\\\n• Experience in regulated enterprise environments\\\\r\\\\n

Skill Requirement : • Advanced IBM AIX administration, patching, TL/SP management and troubleshooting • NIM server design and operation, mksysb, alternate disk operations and recovery • PowerVM, VIOS, LPAR, HMC and enterprise storage/network integration • Ansible and advanced Shell scripting; Git-based source control • Security hardening, vulnerability remediation and audit evidence • Change, incident, problem and release management • Exposure to vulnerability platforms such as Rapid7, Kenna and Qualys

Other Requirement : • Strong customer-facing leadership and ability to defend technical recommendations • Clear implementation, rollback, risk and status documentation • Effective mentoring, stakeholder coordination and escalation handling • Professional English for global delivery forums
