Track Manager - IBM DS, IBM ESS, IBM XIV Storage

Job Summary

This role drives operational excellence for enterprise-scale IBM storage environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with client SLAs. The individual leverages expert knowledge of IBM DS Series, ESS Series, XIV, and Flash System Storage to optimize support processes, resolve complex incidents, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. They empower teams through technical leadership, effective communication, and innovative problem-solving to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee storage operations using IBM DS Series, ESS Series, and XIV to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with client SLAs.
2. Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex incidents leveraging IBM Flash System Storage tools to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
3. Drive process optimization by implementing automation and advanced monitoring solutions within IBM storage environments to enhance operational efficiency.
4. Mentor and guide support teams in troubleshooting, configuration, and lifecycle management of IBM ESS Series systems, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
5. Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and architect innovative storage solutions using IBM technologies aligned with organizational objectives.
6. Champion continuous improvement by introducing new tools, methodologies, and best practices for IBM storage management, ensuring ongoing service enhancement.
7. Ensure comprehensive management reporting by utilizing IBM storage analytics tools for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
