Track Manager - IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, EMC Data Domain

Job Summary

This role provides expert operational leadership for large-scale data protection environments, driving service excellence and continuous improvement in backup and storage management. The position empowers teams, ensures robust client delivery, and implements innovative solutions to meet business objectives, while maintaining high standards of technical reliability and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the administration and optimization of backup and recovery operations using IBM TSM and EMC Data Domain, ensuring high availability and data integrity across enterprise environments.
2. Implement advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex incidents involving IBM TSM and EMC Data Domain systems, driving timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
3. Direct the execution of process improvements by leveraging IBM TSM and EMC Data Domain capabilities, enhancing reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.
4. Oversee client requirements gathering and ensure operational teams consistently meet or exceed established SLAs for backup, restore, and data retention services.
5. Mentor and empower operations staff in IBM TSM and EMC Data Domain best practices, fostering skill development and transparent communication of project objectives.
6. Propose and drive adoption of innovative solutions for backup and storage management using IBM and EMC Data Domain technologies, aligning with organizational goals and compliance standards.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement disaster recovery strategies utilizing IBM TSM and EMC Data Domain, ensuring robust business continuity.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Expertise In Emc Data Domain Systems, Including Integration, Backup, Restore, And Deduplication Processes.
2. Excellent Skills In Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, And Performance Tuning For Enterprise Backup Solutions.
3. Strong Knowledge Of Backup Automation, Reporting, And Monitoring Tools Related To Ibm And Emc Environments.
4. Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities For Guiding Teams And Managing Client Expectations.
5. Advanced Understanding Of Itil Processes And Service Management Best Practices.
6. Solid Experience With Disaster Recovery Planning And Implementation Using Ibm And Emc Data Domain Technologies.
