Key Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\nAutomation & Orchestration\\\\r\\\\n• Design, develop, test, and maintain automation workflows using VMware vRO and Ansible.\\\\r\\\\n• Create reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, templates, inventories, and orchestration standards.\\\\r\\\\n• Automate VDI and infrastructure lifecycle activities such as VM provisioning, pool creation, template creation, golden image support, domain joining, software installation, and decommissioning.\\\\r\\\\n• Develop automation workflows for recurring BAU activities, operational support tasks, and service requests.\\\\r\\\\n• Identify manual and repetitive activities and convert them into standardized automation workflows.\\\\r\\\\nVMware vRO / VMware Aria Automation\\\\r\\\\n• Develop, enhance, and support vRO workflows for VMware Horizon, vCenter, ESXi, vSphere, and related platforms.\\\\r\\\\n• Integrate vRO workflows with enterprise platforms using REST APIs, plugins, and scripting logic.\\\\r\\\\n• Maintain workflow design standards, input/output parameters, exception handling, logging, and operational documentation.\\\\r\\\\n• Support migration or transformation of legacy vRO workflows to Ansible-based automation wherever applicable.\\\\r\\\\nAnsible Automation\\\\r\\\\n• Develop Ansible playbooks for Windows, Linux, Active Directory, VMware, application deployment, configuration management, and operational remediation.\\\\r\\\\n• Maintain Ansible Tower / AWX configurations, inventories, credentials, templates, schedules, and job execution standards.\\\\r\\\\n• Implement dynamic inventories and parameterized playbooks to support scalable automation.\\\\r\\\\n• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles and version control practices for automation artifacts.\\\\r\\\\nIncident, Problem & Change Management\\\\r\\\\n• Provide L3 support for automation fa

Ansible Automation • Develop Ansible playbooks for Windows, Linux, Active Directory, VMware, application deployment, configuration management, and operational remediation. • Maintain Ansible Tower / AWX configurations, inventories, credentials, templates, schedules, and job execution standards. • Implement dynamic inventories and parameterized playbooks to support scalable automation. • Apply Infrastructure as Code principles and version control practices for automation artifacts. Incident, Problem & Change Management • Provide L3 support for automation failures, workflow issues, playbook errors, and orchestration platform incidents. • Perform technical investigation and root cause analysis for workflow failures and repeated operational issues. • Plan, prepare, and execute automation-related changes in line with Airbus change management processes. • Contribute to problem management by identifying automation opportunities to prevent recurring incidents. Integration, Monitoring & Reporting • Integrate automation workflows with ServiceNow, VMware Aria, Splunk, Active Directory, monitoring tools, and other infrastructure platforms. • Build automated health checks, validation scripts, remediation tasks, and operational reports. • Develop dashboards or automation status reporting where required for operational visibility. Documentation, Governance & Knowledge Management • Prepare and maintain technical design documents, SOPs, runbooks, workflow diagrams, playbook documentation, and operational handover guides. • Ensure automation solutions follow security, compliance, ITIL, and Airbus process requirements. • Conduct peer reviews, knowledge transfer sessions, and technical enablement for BAU teams. • Maintain code repository hygiene, naming standards, version control discipline, and release documentation.
