This area sits within our Infrastructure and Cloud Services Domain and builds and operates our container and platform capabilities for the bank.You are, or aspire to be, a specialist in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and enterprise container platforms with a passion for all things platform engineering. You automate wherever possible and apply best practices in CI/CD, security, reliability, and infrastructure automation. You design, build, and operate large scale OpenShift platforms and container workloads in enterprise environments. You bring practical experience across OpenShift operations, cluster lifecycle management, networking, observability, and SRE practices, always starting with well-engineered, reusable code.Be the Platform Engineer you want to be, with opportunities to work across a variety of projects used at scale across the globe. We will challenge you to become an industry-leading engineer while supporting you in a friendly work environment.What will your day look like- Work in a collaborative team to explore business initiatives and deliver platform solutions- Build and manage OpenShift platform capabilities using infrastructure as code and software engineering best practices- Engineer and support OpenShift clusters, including installation, upgrades, patching, scaling, resilience, and day-2 operations- Improve platform security, policy enforcement, secrets management, and compliance controls across container workloads- Utilise knowledge of containers and distributed systems design, including networking, storage, ingress, service-to-service communication, and platform reliability- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application onboarding and platform changes- Support developer enablement through platform documentation, reusable templates, and standardised deployment patterns- Challenge the status quo while always looking for opportunities for continuous improvement- Forget the suit stereotype - we encourage you to dress for your dayWhat will you bring?- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker or other container runtimes, with a passion for platform engineering- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and operating OpenShift clusters in enterprise environments- Good understanding of OpenShift core components such as Operators, Routes, Ingress, Security Context Constraints, RBAC, Namespaces, Internal Registry, and cluster monitoring- Experience with OpenShift installation, upgrades, patching, backup and recovery, and ongoing platform support- Experience with platform observability and reliability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, EFK or Loki, and SRE practices- Comfortable coding in one or more languages such as Bash, Go, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell, and using those skills to automate platform operations- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible, along with continuous int

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Skills In Terraform For Infrastructure As Code Design, Deployment, And Lifecycle Management.
2. Advanced Proficiency In Aws Paas Services (Lambda, Rds, S3, Etc.) And Aws Cloudformation For Cloud Resource Provisioning.
3. Strong Linux Administration And Troubleshooting Capabilities In Cloud Environments.
4. Excellent Understanding Of Operational Management, Incident Response, And Process Optimization In LargeScale Cloud Settings.
