Track Manager - Logical DBA, MySQL

Job Summary

This role oversees the operational management of complex database environments, driving continuous improvement and innovation in support processes. The position empowers teams through expert technical guidance, ensures adherence to client SLAs, and fosters a culture of proactive problem-solving and process optimization within database support operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee SQL Server and MySQL operations by implementing advanced database administration, backup, and recovery strategies to ensure high availability and performance.
2. Lead optimization of database queries and procedures using T-SQL and MySQL tools to enhance reporting accuracy and data flow efficiency.
3. Direct incident resolution and root cause analysis for critical database issues, utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and MySQL Workbench.
4. Mentor and guide support teams in best practices for database maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning using SQL Profiler and MySQL Enterprise Monitor.
5. Drive process innovation by evaluating and deploying new database management technologies and automation tools to streamline operations.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate complex client requirements into actionable support solutions using Microsoft and MySQL platforms.
7. Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies through expert configuration and auditing of SQL Server and MySQL environments.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Proficiency In TSql, Stored Procedures, And Performance Optimization Techniques.
2. Advanced Skills In Using Sql Server Management Studio, Mysql Workbench, And Related Monitoring Tools.
3. Strong Experience In Database Incident Management, Troubleshooting, And Root Cause Analysis.
4. Excellent Leadership In Mentoring Teams On Database Operations Best Practices.
5. Advanced Proficiency In Implementing Automation For Database Maintenance And Reporting.
6. Solid Understanding Of Data Governance, Compliance, And Security In Operational Environments.

Other Requirements

1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent (optional but valuable)
