Key Responsibilities
2. Oversee system operations for mainframe environments by implementing advanced problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis with CA-7, Control-M, or similar scheduling tools.
3. Champion continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data and deploying enhancements in mainframe SysOps processes, leveraging tools such as IBM System Automation and Service Management Suite.
4. Mentor and guide operations teams on best practices in mainframe systems management, fostering knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
5. Collaborate with client-facing teams to translate business requirements into operational solutions, utilizing advanced mainframe utilities and scripting (JCL, REXX) to deliver tailored outcomes.
6. Drive process innovation by evaluating and integrating new automation technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and reduce system downtime.
7. Ensure robust incident, change, and problem management within mainframe environments, utilizing ITIL-based frameworks and enterprise monitoring solutions.
