Track Manager - Microsoft Azure - IaaS, Azure Kubernetes Service

Job Summary

This role is accountable for leading operational management of complex cloud environments, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring service excellence on Azure IaaS, Azure Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation platforms. The individual provides expert guidance in cloud architecture, operationalizes automation strategies, and champions process innovation to meet and exceed client SLAs while empowering technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect and optimize Azure IaaS and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments using advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing operations.
2. Lead the implementation of automation strategies for provisioning, monitoring, and maintaining cloud resources with Terraform and Azure DevOps, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
3. Oversee incident management and root cause analysis within Azure and Kubernetes platforms, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption to client operations.
4. Mentor and guide teams in applying best practices for Azure PaaS/IaaS management, including cost optimization, compliance, and security using Azure Policy and governance tools.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging Azure technologies and integrating innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and process efficiency.
6. Ensure client requirements are translated into actionable support plans, maintaining transparent communication and accountability for SLA adherence.
7. Provide expert guidance in developing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure configurations using Terraform and Azure-native tools.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Expertise In Infrastructure As Code (Iac) Using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (Arm), And Related Automation Tools.
2. Excellent Knowledge Of Azure Paas, Windows Azure Iaas, And Associated Cloud Services.
3. Advanced Skills In Cloud Incident Management, Monitoring, And Troubleshooting Within Azure And Kubernetes.
4. Excellent Understanding Of Cloud Security, Compliance, And Governance Within Azure Environments.
5. Advanced Proficiency In Creating And Optimizing Ci/Cd Pipelines For Cloud Deployments.
6. Strong Leadership And Mentoring Abilities In Cloud Operations Teams.

Other Requirements

1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (recommended)
2. HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (optional but valuable

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
