Track Manager - NetApp FAS, EMC Isilion

Job Summary

This role drives operational excellence and continuous improvement in enterprise-scale storage environments, focusing on EMC Isilon, NetApp File Storage, and IBM Spectrum Scale. The position empowers teams to deliver superior support, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure client satisfaction through expert leadership and process innovation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis using EMC Isilon, NetApp File Storage, and IBM Spectrum Scale to resolve critical storage incidents and minimize downtime.
2. Oversee configuration, optimization, and capacity planning for enterprise storage systems utilizing EMC management tools, NetApp ONTAP, and IBM Spectrum Scale interfaces.
3. Implement and refine operational processes and automation scripts to improve storage performance, data protection, and reporting across multi-vendor storage platforms.
4. Ensure compliance with client SLAs by monitoring storage health, conducting proactive risk assessments, and coordinating escalation management within the team.
5. Mentor and guide support engineers in advanced storage operations, fostering technical growth and promoting adoption of best practices in EMC and NetApp environments.
6. Drive process innovation by evaluating emerging storage technologies and recommending enhancements to existing workflows and service delivery models.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to align storage infrastructure management with organizational objectives and client requirements.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Expertise In Netapp File Storage Systems And Ontap Management.
2. InDepth Knowledge Of Ibm Spectrum Scale Configuration And Integration.
3. Excellent Skills In Using Storage Management Tools Such As Emc Unisphere, Netapp System Manager, And Ibm Spectrum Scale Gui/Cli.
4. Strong Understanding Of Storage Network Protocols (Nfs, Smb, Cifs) And Data Protection Strategies.
5. Excellent Analytical, ProblemSolving, And Mentoring Abilities In Complex, LargeScale Operational Settings.

Other Requirements

1. EMC Proven Professional Certification (EMCIE or equivalent) � optional but valuable.
2. NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE) � optional but valuable.
3. IBM Certified Specialist � Spectrum Scale � optional but valuable

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
